Fire breathers are very unique creatures. They have a breath weapon that is dependent upon their health: the damage is 20% of its current hit points. The more hurt it is, the less damage it will do. Fire breath is an ability not a spell, so it cannot be reflected with spell reflect. However, its damage can be reduced, depending on your fire resistance.
While wild, fire breathers are notorious target switchers. They will usually switch targets if something refreshes the screen near them (ie. casts a spell or gets on a mount) or comes within a certain number of tiles from them. Even newly tamed fire breathers do not like things that refresh the screen. A newly tamed fire breather will continue to randomly attack players who refresh the screen near them until they leave the server in which they were tamed.
No tamed fire breather likes murderers. Though, they will not always attack them on sight, there is always a random chance that they will attack them, even if they are their owner. This is most likely to happen while the fire breather is in "aggressive" mode.
All tame fire breathers will savagely attack any aggressive creature, especially anything poisonous (poisons naturally through melee attacks). fire breathers are deathly afraid of poisonous creatures and will attack those first, over any other creature, if given a choice. Even some tamed poisonous creatures are considered dangerous, since fire breathers may or may not attack them, blue or otherwise. This is not to say that fire breathers and poisonous creatures can never work together. A fire breather is perfectly happy working side by side with a well fed spider or other poisonous creature.
