Though drakes are less feared than dragons, they are still strong pets. They are one of the weakest of the top 6 pets, and the only one of those 6 that does not have magic. Don't let those weaknesses fool you, they are among the top dex fighters on the tamable list. While they have no magic of their own, their speed and fierceness make them a worthy pet. Drakes tamed prior to Pub 16 (July 2002, dates vary) will only eat meat. Drakes tamed afterwards will eat both meat and fish.
