In most regards, forest ostards are superior mounts compared to horses or ridable llamas. They have nearly 3x as much strength as a horse or llama, which makes them equal to frenzieds in that department. Their average dexterity is comparable to horses, if not just a bit better. They are quite a favorite among nontamers as colored mounts.
